HELPING STUDENTS FIND AND FULFILL GOD’S PURPOSE FOR THEIR LIVES!
HELPING STUDENTS FIND AND FULFILL GOD’S PURPOSE FOR THEIR LIVES!
Our youth ministry is called “4:12” This comes from 1 Timothy 4:12:
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set
an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
Our ministry exists to disciple young people to follow Jesus and be challenged to find God's purpose for their lives.
We want to partner with parents and caring adults by creating an environment where students can Belong, find the Truth to Believe in, and Become more like Jesus!

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
The main 4:12 gathering happens on Wednesday nights during the school year from 6:30-8:00 pm and students from 5th-12th grade are welcome to join us.
We have fun playing games, worshiping together with a live band, listening to a short message, and splitting up into small groups according to age.
SMALL GROUPS
Small Groups are a critical part of our ministry because it’s where students can share, ask questions, make friends, and have an adult leader invest in them.
Small groups happen each Wednesday to go deeper into the week’s topic. Occasionally, small groups will have fun activities outside of normal gatherings.
MISSION TRIP
Through missions we express and respond to God’s love for us by sharing the Good News of Jesus with the world. Missions is service, evangelism, and caring for our neighbors.
Stay tuned for our upcoming trip details in the near future.
WINTER RETREAT
It’s a time to get away from the normal routine of life, school, and other activities. The goal is to retreat and spend time with other youth and adult leaders while growing in our relationship with God and each other.
SUMMER CAMP
This year, Marion Methodist is again partnering with Summer Games University, and we are encouraging all students and their friends to join.
Marion Methodist is offering a massive discount to its students. You pay the deposit of $79, and we will cover the rest. For more information and registrations click here:
PARENT FORUMS
It’s an event/space where parents of preteens and teens can connect with our Youth Pastor and other parents in a similar stage in life.
The Parent Forums will focus on specific topics relevant to parenting, faith, and students’ struggles.
