4:12 Missions

We are excited to open registrations for our 2023 Youth Mission Trip to Kansas City!

REGISTER HERE

This summer, Marion Methodist will be partnering with Next Step Ministries for a Christ-centered, mission trip to Kansas City, Missouri.

Positioned in the heart of America, and surrounded by the rich history and world-class BBQ, our team will have an opportunity to serve alongside the Kansas City community, helping to meet the physical and spiritual needs of those experiencing homelessness, or hardships in the area, by doing relational ministries as well as construction.

Activities will include worship, construction, helping with feeding programs, and helping to share the love of Christ with the neighborhood.

The trip will conclude with a day of fun at one of the local attractions.

To find out more about Next Step Ministries please see their website at https://nextstepministries.com/

When?  June 11 to 17, 2023

Who can join us? Middle and High School students who want to make a difference serving God, and sharing His love in another community.

Although this trip is open to Middle School Students, we ask parents to judge the maturity of their child to determine their eligibility to attend, considering it’s not a camp but a Mission Trip that will involve more work, travel to another state, less comfort and the willingness to serve above all else.

Lodging: We will be staying at Evangel Church, 1414 E 103rd Street, Kansas City MO

Cost:  The Trip is $439 + travel expenses per person, but our congregation will be sponsoring part of the expenses bringing the cost for each individual to $250 per person. (In case you need more assistance with the trip’s cost, please contact Gonzo as we have additional scholarships available as well)

Registration: To be able to register you will need to pay a deposit of $100 to secure your spot.

Information Meeting will be held on March 19th, 2023 at 11:30AM in Room 100

Join us to find out more details, ask questions, and see if this is an opportunity for you or your child to take part in.

Transportation: We plan to rent vehicles and depart altogether from our church.
